Switch Feel
The Cherry MX Hyperglide Brown is a retooled iteration of the original Cherry MX Brown, which essentially means newer molds that have improved housing and stem tolerances. In addition they have added a very light application of lubricant on the stem legs to provide a smoother typing experience, although the rest of the stem comes without any lube. The Cherry MX Hyperglide Brown is one of those switches that shine for enthusiasts would want to truly customize their switch with the amount of hand lubing, filming, or spring swapping. Or the Cherry MX Hyperglide Brown can also be for those who want to feel that extra texture from the Cherry scratch. The Cherry MX Hyperglide Brown still presents itself as a unique tactile switch that is a good middle ground for users who prefer a lighter tactile bump. This makes the Cherry MX Hyperglide Brown a great option for those looking for a tactile switch for gaming. The Cherry MX Hyperglide Brown would provide enough tactility to help feel when a key has been pressed, but small enough tactility that it wouldn't slow down performance.
Switch Sound
The Cherry MX Hyperglide Brown has the classic Cherry switch sound profile and scratch. Its unique blend of nylon allows the Cherry switches to have a more clacky typing sound on bottom out and a poppy top out than some other switches also made of nylon. The Cherry MX Hyperglide Brown is a great option for those who enjoy a light tactile switch that leans more towards a brighter and high pitched typing sound.

Switch Feel
For mechanical keyboard enthusiasts chasing the classic tactile experience, the Gateron LongJing Tea switch offers a refreshing twist on a well-loved formula. Designed with a typing feel reminiscent of the iconic Cherry MX Brown, this switch is a compelling option for anyone who values subtle tactility and smooth performance.
At first touch, the Gateron LongJing Tea feels nostalgic, with its light tactile bump, 4.0mm total travel distance, and rail bottom out, echoing the traditional characteristics of the Cherry MX Brown. However, what sets it apart lies in the refined construction and modern enhancements that elevate the overall experience.
One of the standout features of the Gateron LongJing Tea switch is its full POM (polyoxymethylene) housing and stem. This material not only contributes to a more consistent and deeper sound profile but also adds to the smoothness of the switch. Combined with an evenly applied factory lubrication, the result is an impressively smooth keypress with no noticeable scratch.
In essence, the Gateron LongJing Tea tactile switch successfully bridges nostalgia and innovation. It's an excellent choice for typists who appreciate the gentle tactility of the Cherry MX Brown, but are ready for a modernized, smoother, and more refined typing experience. The Gateron LongJing Tea also presents itself as a gamer friendly tactile switch, with a similar light tactile feel as the Cherry MX Brown. The Gateron LongJing Tea would provide a good balance of tactile response without reducing performance.
Switch Sound
Thanks to its full POM construction, the Gateron LongJing Tea tactile switch offers a deeper, more resonant bottom-out sound that can produce a satisfying thock, In contrast, the top-out is punctuated by a soft, poppy characteristic that adds a playful nuance to each press, making the typing experience smooth and comfortable.
There's no scratchiness, and the dreaded spring ping is nowhere to be found. However, at ear level some users might notice a slight hollowness in the sound profile. This isn’t a dealbreaker by any means, and for those looking to perfect their setup, a bit of hand lubrication can easily smooth that out and tighten the overall acoustic response.
When compared to the classic Cherry MX Brown, the Gateron LongJing Tea presents a slightly lower tone, lending a more mellow and modern sound that many typists will appreciate. Whether you're streaming, working in a shared space, or just enjoy the subtleties of a finely tuned tactile switch, the Gateron LongJing Tea strikes a satisfying balance between smoothness and tactility.

Switch Feel
The Wuque WS Light Tactile feels incredibly smooth with its factory lube, espcially for a tactile switch. It feels smooth and also poppy at the same time due to its light but snappy tactile bump. Due to its tight housing tolerances and minimal stem wobble, the majority of the typing experience of the Wuque WS Light Tactile comes from its tactility. This smoothness and snappy responsiveness make the Wuque WS Light Tactile a great choice for a comfortable typing experience.
The Wuque WS Light Tactile also feels comfortable to type on as it has a similar feeling bottom out as full travel switches. Some of the most popular tactile switches in the hobby, such as Gazzew Boba U4T and Invyr Holy Pandas, have a pronounced tactile bump at the initial keypress followed by a short linear post travel until bottoming out. Similarly, the Wuque WS Light Tactile has its tactile bump at the top of the keypress, but where it differentiates itself by having a slightly longer linear post travel. The extra linear post travel after the tactile bump could create a more comfortable typing experience as the bottom out doesn't happen as suddenly as other tactile switches. The Wuque WS Light Tactile would be an interesting tactile switch to try for typists who are used to the feeling of full travel switches. It would also be an interesting tactile switch to try for those who are used to a bigger tactile response. With a lighter tactile response, the Wuque WS Light Tactile would be great for gamers who still want some feedback in their typing that the key has been pressed, but light enough not to tire out your fingers.
Switch Sound
The Wuque WS Light Tactile has a neutral sound profile that is neither too thocky nor too clacky. The Wuque WS Light Tactile falls in the mid tones with a poppy bottom out and top out due to its light tactile bump. The bottom out has a soft yet bright sound profile (with its nylon bottom housing material), while the top out has a hard and poppy sound profile (with its PC top housing material). The Wuque WS Light Tactile also still retains a similar snappy tactile sound profile that exists in the Wuque WS Heavy Tactile and other larger-bumped tactile switches, despite its lighter tactile bump. The Wuque WS Light Tactile also feels and sounds closer to a full travel switch since it has a 3.9mm travel distance. The bottom out of the Wuque WS Light Tactile is affected less by the sharp stem pole bottom, that most other tactile switches possess, and is more affected by its tactile bump and its combination of materials. The Wuque WS Light Tactile would be a fun option to try for typists who enjoy the crisp and poppy sound of a tactile switch that is softer on the ears.
