Switch Feel
The HMX Silent Sakura has a glossy smooth actuation. The HMX Silent Sakura retains the consistent smooth typing experience found in other HMX switches while incorporating a silencing mechanism on the rails of the stem to create a more solid and less mushy bottom out. The HMX Silent Sakura has a metallic piece imbedded within the silicone that helps to make the silicone dampeners feel more rigid and solid to reduce the mushy compression that would occur from just silicone alone. Only when singling out a switch and heavily pushing do you notice any slight mushiness. Otherwise, during normal typing, the HMX Silent Sakura doesn't feel mushy at all when bottoming out.
Switch Sound
The HMX Silent Sakura achieves its dampened and quiet sound both when bottoming out and topping out. The HMX Silent Sakura isn't completely silent, however it is still one of the quieter silent switches in the market due to its silicone dampeners and excellent factory lubrication. The HMX Silent Sakura would be a great choice for you if you are looking for the signature HMX quality and feel and want to try their attempt at a silent switch.

Things to Note
There is a small metallic material that is integrated in silicone used for the dampening. For full transparency I am unsure what the purpose of this metal piece is, but I would make an assumption that it is integrated to provide more rigidity to the silicone dampener to reduce the mushiness if it were only silicone. Purely speculation, but I thought it would be an interesting thing to note about the construction of the stem in the HMX Sakura.
