Overview

The Haimu Rock is similar to the Haimu Mulberry in the implementation of the switch. They are both tactile switches that feature a metal insert in the bottom of the stem pole and on the bottom housing. They both also have a removable light diffuser for better RGB distribution. Switch Feel

The typing feel of the Haimu Rock is characterized around the large initial tactile bump followed but the hard and solid bottom out with the metallic inserts. The housing has tight tolerances especially in the N/S direction, providing a clean typing experience. And due to its material choices with a POM housing and LY stem and consistent factory lube, the Haimu Rock feels smooth to actuate. The Haimu Rock would be a great choice if you are looking for a tactile switch that emphasizes the tactility while being unbothered by any inconsistencies in its smoothness.

Switch Sound

The Haimu Rock sounds just like it's name. With the large tactile bump and the metal inserts, the Haimu Rock has a hard and clacky bottom out and a snappy return for the top out. There is no spring ping, leaf tick, or scratchiness that is noticeable during typing. The Haimu Rock would be a great option if you are looking for a clacky tactile switch that is isolated to its typing sounds.
