a little rubbery, but super quiet!

for context I prefer switches that are described as clicky, crunchy, & crispy (literally my favorite keyboard has Kailh BOX Pinks soldered right into it) but I needed silent switches to bring into the office, and these ended up feeling the least squishy/rubbery out of the silent switches I’ve tried (which include Durock Silent Shrimps and the Macaw switches from Cannonkeys). you definitely feel the silicone dampeners when you type on them but I think they must be smaller or firmer than on the other switches because it felt more like typing on a membrane keyboard versus typing on a bouncy ball. the 42g op force is easy to type on for extended periods which is a requirement of my job, so I’m extremely pleased there. they’re INCREDIBLY quiet too, absolutely no louder than a standard membrane or laptop keyboard IMHO, so for me they’re well worth sacrificing my beloved crunch! the Haimu Whisper switches from Cannonkeys are a bit cheaper & they don’t have the mushy silicone but they’re significantly louder (although still quiet) and have a higher operating force, so if you’re going for as little volume & typing effort as possible then pick the Silent Bluish Whites. overall I think they’re a super solid switch and they have the best balance of price & performance!
