Gateron Smoothie Silver is Gateron's newest design, incorporating a long-pole bottom-out stem and full POM material. It is the same as the popular Gateron Smoothie but with short travel distance.
POM is a material which is widely used in industry for its seemingly "self-lubricating" properties, this is due to its low coefficient of friction (how "slippery" it feels) of 0.2, compared to others like polycarbonate at 0.3. This results in a very smooth feel with less "scratchiness".
We are providing personal hand lubing service, done personally by our slick inhouse Lume Lubing expert.
