80Retros GB40 Game 1985 Mechanical Keyboard
The 80Retros GB40 Game 1985 is a compact mechanical keyboard that combines a nostalgic retro gaming-inspired design with modern enthusiast features. Finished in the Game 1985 colorway and paired with matching keycaps, the GB40 comes pre-built with HMX Monochrome switches for a smooth, responsive typing experience right out of the box.
The keyboard features a powder-coated CNC aluminum case with a gasket mount design, providing a solid yet comfortable typing feel. Inside, Poron plate foam, IXPE switch foam, and bottom case foam are pre-installed to help refine the sound and reduce unwanted resonance.
A hotswap PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches, making it easy to customize the typing feel without soldering. The GB40 also features south-facing RGB lighting, a 6° typing angle, and dual connection options through a USB-C cable or Bluetooth 5.4 wireless connectivity.
Adding to its retro gaming aesthetic, the GB40 includes a red joystick accent piece that attaches to the back of the keyboard for a distinctive finishing touch.
