The TTC Neptune and the TTC Venus innovates the traditional switch design. Their railings on extended from the usual 5.2mm to 6.0mm. TTC compares their extended rail design with how a high-speed railway is smoother because it has a seamless connection. In contrast, ordinary trains (or traditional switch designs) would have gaps in-between the rails which causes vibrations. Therefore, TTC made a switch with extended rails that make constant contact with railings that are on the top housing instead of the bottom housing on traditional switches. Due to this new railing design, the TTC Neptune and the TTC Venus feel incredibly smooth and sound incredibly clean.

Switch Sound

The TTC Neptune and the TTC Venus both sound clean and crisp without any unnecessary noises from spring ping, leaf chatter, or scratch. The combination of materials and design aspects make these switches sound creamy.

The TTC Neptune and the TTC Venus both have a solid bottom out that has the potential to sound both clacky or thocky depending on how the keyboard is configured. While the top out sound has a soft and poppy sound signature.

Switch Feel

Without any gaps between the rails in the housing and with longer rails on the stem, the TTC Neptune and the TTC Venus feel incredibly slick and smooth to type on.
