Similarities:

The Gateron KS-37B Magnetic FOX and the Gateron Magnetic Jade share the same materials for their stem and housing. They also have the same bottom out force (50g) and the same initial magnetic flux (120±15Gs) and bottom magnetic flux (800±80Gs).

Differences:

From the specs, the most obvious differences are the travel distances. The Gateron KS-37B Magnetic FOX also has a full travel distance while the Gateron Magnetic Jade has a shorter travel distance of 3.5mm.

The Gateron Magnetic Jade and the Gateron KS-37B Magnetic FOX have differences in their stem design. The Gateron KS-37B Magnetic FOX has a Dual-Rail structure (like the Gateron Dual-Rail Lunar Probe switch) and an additional piece of plastic that arches around where the feet would be in mechanical style switches. I would guess that the purpose this additional design for the stem in the Gateron KS-37B Magnetic FOX is for alignment between the stem and the top and bottom housing.

Switch Sound

The Gateron KS-37B Magnetic FOX sounds more muted and deeper in comparison to the Gateron Magnetic Jade. The Gateron KS-37B Magnetic FOX sounds soft and thocky when bottoming out and sounds thin and slightly high pitched when topping out.

The Gateron Magnetic Jade has a shorter travel distance and therefore bottoms out on the pole. Since the Gateron Magnetic Jade bottoms out on the poles, it creates a sharper and louder sound profile than the Gateron KS-37B Magnetic FOX which has a full travel distance and bottoms out on the rails.

Here are some sound tests:

Switch Feel

Similar to the switch sound, since the Gateron KS-37B Magnetic FOX has a full travel distance it feels soft when bottoming out, and since the Gateron Magnetic Jade has a short travel distance it feels sharp when bottoming out. This doesn't mean that the Gateron Magnetic is harsh to type on. Both the Gateron Magnetic Jade and the Gateron KS-37B Magnetic FOX are both comfortable to type on.

The open bottom housing in the Gateron KS-37B Magnetic FOX could also be a factor for why it feels softer than the Gateron Magnetic Jade with the closed bottom housing. There is no additional reverberation since there is no contact between the bottom of the stem pole and the bottom housing.

The Gateron KS-37B Magnetic FOX also has a lighter spring weight than the Gateron Magnetic Jade which could feel more comfortable to type on for enthusiasts, office workers, or gamers who prefer lighter spring weights.

Both the Gateron KS-37B Magnetic FOX and the Gateron Magnetic Jade come slightly factory lubed. They are very smooth and refined with no scratchiness or leaf/spring ping.

In terms of wobble they both have acceptable amounts of wobble. The Gateron KS-37B Magnetic FOX feels slightly tighter in the N/S direction, which is possibly due to the dual-rail design and the arch around the stem allowing for better alignment.

Things to Note

Before installing magnetic hall effect switches on your keyboard, check and ensure they are compatible with your keyboard. Depending on the design of the board, incompatible magnetic switches may damage the HE PCB.
