Durock Shrimp Silent Tactile Switches

I bought these at the suggestion of LUMEKEEBS as I wanted a switch that had a tactile bump but was not overly noisy or clicky as I am a devout "THOCKER" and also wanted the switches to be silent, as I sshare my workspace with my bedroom and sometimes insomnia prevails, which can disturb the misses.

I am running a Shortcut Central BRIDGE75 Pro with some gejneric anime comic keycaps from Amazon (literally called that), and it is BUTTERY SMOOTH operation with just the right tactile bump at the top of the actuation, which I prefer. The higher actuation force also works in tandem with the tactility as its almost an immediate feedback and then return to 0.

I love these switches and cannot imagine I would change them, They are also dead silent compared to the stock bridge 75 keys which had a clicky sound on return. It definitely took a bit to get used to.

There is a SLIGHT audible ping from the key itself if you put it up to your ear, howere when it is on your desk and you have music going, or even the noise from the other keys it is not noticeable.

I watied a week and change before I typed this review just to see how things would hold up. There is a little bit of a clanky sound on the keyboard keys, but I think that is more due to myu choice of keycaps as opposed to the switch itself.

You cannot go wrong with these switches!

These were excellent switches. The only thing I didn't quite like was the casing; the leds on my keyboard get a weird shade from the green material. Beyond that these have a lovely bit of tactile feedback and are excellent switches. They're only a tiny bit louder than my boba U4s, have just a tad more strength, and a more pronounced bump on travel.

So glad I added the film and hand lube service! These switches have a very pleasing tactile bump and hardly make a peep. They are currently on my Nuphy Halo75 v2 with a mix of the Carmine Cloud key caps and out-of-box key caps. Thank you, Lume Keebs!

Really solid feel, not mushy and still fairly quiet compared to other silent textiles

Feels like what the Whomp King from Mario 64 would be if it was a switch. Tactile feed back is insane. I like it.

I ordered a lubed & filmed set for a friend’s board, then ended up loving them so much that I had to order some of my own. I’d recommend them to anyone who loves a solid tactile feel but is concerned about noise levels on calls or in an office environment.

I bought these for my wife (film and lubed) for my wife's SAM65 v2 board as she needed quiet switches but preferred a tactile feel. Admittedly I got a sample as a thank you from Lumekeebs on a previous purchase and my wife was a fan. Overall its a nice soft tactile bump and its super quiet, its quieter than even my Macbook Pro keyboard.

I'm still new to the craft so I can't elaborate more than my wife is a fan is already looking to repurchase the Durock Shrimp Silent Switches for her Zoom75 later this year.
