80Retros GB40 FC 1983 Mechanical Keyboard
The 80Retros GB40 FC 1983 is a retro gaming-inspired mechanical keyboard that combines nostalgic design with modern enthusiast features. It comes pre-built in the FC 1983 colorway, paired with a matching keycap set and HMX Monochrome switches for a smooth and responsive typing experience right out of the box.
The GB40 features a powder-coated CNC aluminum case with a gasket mount design, providing a comfortable and refined typing feel. Poron plate foam, IXPE switch foam, and bottom case foam are pre-installed to help improve acoustics and reduce unwanted resonance.
Its hotswap PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin switches, making it easy to customize the keyboard without soldering. For connectivity, the GB40 supports both USB-C wired mode and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless connectivity. South-facing RGB lighting and a 6° typing angle complete the modern enthusiast-focused design.
To complete the retro gaming aesthetic, the GB40 includes a red joystick knob decoration that attaches to the back of the keyboard.
