Overview

Durock silent linear switches are for when you game into the night or at work where silence is golden while retaining the signature smoothness of Durock switches.

Product Details

Durock silent switches are designed with a removable silicone silent circle around the stem. The silicone is purposefully designed for the stem. The bottom of the silicone is wider and matches the width of the rail and the top part is thinner.

Switch Sound

All three silent switches are significantly quieter than normal switches as we compared them with Gateron Red in the video below. The Shrimp is a little bit louder than the Dolphin and Daybreak.

Lubing the switch deepens the sound and makes them quieter than the stock form.

We also removed the silicone to test the sound difference. The sound of the removed silicone ring version is just like the sound of a normal switch.

Switch Feel

The Durock Dolphin and Daybreak feel similar since they have a similar makeup, just with a slightly different spring weight. They are smooth and have a cushioned feel and the bottom out feels of rubber dampener. On the Durock Shrimp, you can definitely feel the bump. The stock version of these three has a slightly hint of scratchiness if you look for it. The scratchiness goes away with lubing and filming the switch. Lubing the switches improves the feel and makes them smoother.
